It has since been listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and named as a U.S. National Historic Landmark and National Historic Site. In general, clubs are broken down into two main categories: State and/or Nationwide organizations, and local clubs. Within the major, nationwide club organizations, each individual charter within each school is referred to as a "chapter".
